๐ŸŸ  2 Pink Lady Apples
๐ŸŸ  1 Pack of Jus rol Cinnamon Swirl
๐ŸŸ  Knob of butter
๐ŸŸ  1/2 tsp vanilla extract
๐ŸŸ  2 tbsp Brown Sugar
๐ŸŸ  Juice of half a lemon
๐ŸŸ  7 tblsp honey & cinnamon granola
๐ŸŸ  6 tbsp Icing sugar
๐ŸŸ  1 egg & splash water
๐ŸŸ  1 tsp granulated sugar

1 Peel, core & dice 2 Pink lady apples.

2 Put in small frying pan with a knob of melted butter, coating all the apple pieces.

3 Add 2 tbsps of Brown sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and heat rapidly stirring frequently for 5/10 mins until the liquid has reduced to next to nothing but keeping the apples both soft & moist.

4 Leave apples to go completely cold.

1 Open pack of Jus rol cinnamon swirl pastry and unravel roll on top of a large sheet of cling film

2 With a pallet knife remove the cinnamon filing from the pastry checking underneath the pastry also for any extra filling. Reserve until later.

3 Place a second piece of cling film over the top of pastry.ย  With a rolling pin increase the width by 2 inches. Do not alter the length of the pastry.

4 Once the pastry is rolled out wider remove top layer of cling film and discard. Take the reserved cinnamon mix and spread evenly all over the pastry

5 Take the cooled apple mix and spread on top the cinnamon mixture.

6 Sprinkle 4 tbsps of yummilicious Honey & Cinnamon granola on top of the apple mix.

7 Pick up the cling film on the long side of pastry and carefully roll the pastry, Swiss roll style, finishing the roll with the seam underneath. Pinch the pastry together at both ends to seal the contents inside.

8 Cover a sheet pan with non stick paper and using the cling film carefully transfer the apple cinnamon danish onto it. Again making sure the seam is at the bottom.ย  Discard the 2nd piece of cling film.

9 Form your pastry into a horse shoe shape on the sheet pan

10 Take 1 egg and beat with a splash of water until mixed then paint all over the exposed horseshoe pastry and sprinkle with 1 tsp of white granulated sugar.

11 Bake your Apple & Cinnamon Danish for 14 minutes in a 180 degree Fan oven. Remove from the oven when light golden brown in colour and allow the Danish to cool completely on the sheet pan.

1 When Danish is completely cold take 6 tbsp of sifted Icing sugar and put in a bowl adding lemon juice, 1/2 tsp at a time, stirring with a fork until you create a smooth spreadable paste. Be very careful not to add too much lemon juice all at once or your icing will become too runny.

2 Spread the icing evenly over the top of the Danish and sprinkle immediately with 3 tblsp granola over the top of the icing, leave for 10 minutes for icing to set.

Your Apple Cinnamon Danish is now ready for you to enjoy with a cup of tea. It is absolutely yummiliciously delicious!
